European Bulk Services (EBS) B.V. is a multifunctional dry bulk terminal operator in the port of Rotterdam. Our main activities are the loading, unloading, storage and transshipment of dry bulk products.
We are a logistical partner for customers in the food and feed industry, building and production industry and the energy sector.
EBS consists of two terminals and a fleet of floating cranes and handles around 12 million tonnes of products annually. Together with 180 permanent staff EBS generates an annual turnover of around 45 million euros.
EBS is a wholly owned subsidiary of HES International B.V.

HISTORY
European Bulk Services (EBS) B.V. came into existence in 1993 following a merger between Koninklijke Frans Swarttouw, Graan Elevator Maatschappij (GEM) and Interstevedoring: three prominent stevedoring companies in the port of Rotterdam.
